So take today and create something new with your talents to bless others and allow you to further His kingdom. That one simple talent you do not see is that much of anything could bless someone else, which may be on the fence about God’s love. Nurses see people at their most vulnerable state, and I’ve learned a lot about them. That young nurse 18 years ago would not have said much about God’s got you. I was so nervous being a baby nurse, as we called it then, and plus I had a nurse that was supposed to be there to help me, but instead she wanted to see me fail(eat their young). Being the strong-willed person I am, it wouldn’t happen, though. So, I prayed to God and asked him for the strength and knowledge to complete the task. That said, it also gave me the courage to start paying attention to when I felt led to pray with my patients in their most vulnerable times. No, I didn’t create something new, but I created a new bond with a patient, and I gained their respect and the family. So, even if it’s just a small new bond you create today, you have done it all for Him. Create something new today!
